What does the IDDD in Public Policy aim at?

Policy making processes in the future, as in the past, will require a sound understanding of technologies that become a part of policy regimes in various sectors. Students of engineering trained in policy sciences will be able to contribute more effectively in the designing, implementation, monitoring and assessment of policies at a societal level. The benefits and consequences of new technologies can be realized only if we fully understand their impact on markets, society, citizen rights and regulatory practices.
